Because it is that time of day when I can't decide what sounds good...

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Where do you go to get it or do you make it yourself? I'd like to have a breakfast party for New Years and need some inspiration beyond Bisquick.

Anyone know of somewhere in town that you can get bánh mì (Vietnamese Subs)? I found a couple of trailer/stands in Portland, but man I need something closer to home to get the fix of that porkie, crunchy, spicy, sweet, fresh sub goodness.

Just read the article today on the Register Guard online about the Emerald Valley Time Exchange - I didn't realize we had this here! A time bank is where everyone lists their skills and services that they can offer, and you get "points" for every hour you donate to someone, which you can exchange for an hour of services from anyone in the network. So you can spend two hours fixing someone's computer and later on get an hour-long massage and an hour of yard work done, or whatever you might need.
Has anyone here participated in the EVTE? Any stories to share, warnings, advice? I'm definitely considering joining, but it's one of those systems that works best with more people, so I encourage others to join too! I love the idea of trading skills rather than money.
